1936
Franklin Rutledge and Marvin Langford were the new managers of Plum Nelly. Their business was located next to the school in Trenton. They invited everyone to stop in and hear their newly installed Phonograph.
1962
Pauline Philman of Bell returned home after a year studying at the University in Cape Town, South Africa. Pauline Philman was a Rotary Foundation Fellow, she told the members at Trenton Rotary Club that she visited 13 countries and traveled 36,000 miles. She attended and spoke at many Rotary Club meetings while in South Africa.
1996
A Community Clean Up Day was held at Northwest Park in Trenton. The organizers were Charlotte Kearney, Willie Mae Sims, Bernadette Brown, Marjorie Henley, Ted Henley, Jeryl Lindsey and Elliott Baker.
